Citizen Miyota will organize an environmental management unit to promote the following activities:

1. Taking into account the potential environmental impact of our business activities, we will strive to prevent pollution by adopting the best possible and financially feasible technology and by continually improving our environmental management system.
2. We will abide by environmental laws, regulations and agreements as well as other requirements that our company decides to accept.
3. We will establish environmental objectives, reviewing and modifying them as necessary on a regular basis.

Priority themes for environmental conservation

• To prevent global warming, wrestle with energy-saving acitivities.
• To prevent global environmnet from pollution, wrestle with activities which reduce environmental relation substances,and which reduce wastese re-resources.
• Strive for cooperation with districts as well as wrestle with tree-planting and prepar-ation activities which harmonizes natural environment.

4. We will pursue qualitative improvement of our environmental activities by helping each and every employee thoroughly understand our Environmental Policy and by conducting educational and PR activities.
5. We will maintain and improve the quality of our environmental management system by implementing internal auditing thereof.
6. We will disclose the results of Environmental Policy activities whenever requested by outside groups or individuals.
